TSUNAMI of 21 April 1997

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.9 occurred at 1202 UTC 21 APR 1997
and was located in the vicinity of Santa Cruz Islands (12.5S 166.2E).

The earthquake produced a small tsunami that was observed at the following
locations:
