TSUNAMI of 3 May 1998

A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 occurred at 2330 UTC 3 MAY 1998
and was located SE of Taiwan in the Philippine Sea.(22.5N 125.3W).

The earthquake produced a small tsunami that was observed at the following
locations by the JMA Tokyo:
