TSUNAMI of 5 September 1996

A major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 occurred at 0814 UTC 5 SEPT 1996
and was located in the vicinity of the East Pacific rise (22S 113W).

The earthquake produced a small tsunami that was observed at the following
locations by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center:
